Copics Colour Challenge #4 - Tilda Goes Purple

I'm the Guest DT member for this week's Copics Colour Challenge!

This week the challenge is to use one or more of the following colours:

Y08 - Acid Yellow
V06 - Lavender
BG13 - Mint Green

If you don't have one of these colours, you are free to use the colour/shade you have which is closest, as long as you use a Copic marker!

The DT have come up with some lovely creations for this challenge, and you can see them all here.

As you can see, I've gone for V06, which is the only one of the colours listed that I have. It isn't one of my favourite shades to work with, as I mentioned before, for some reason I have difficulty with purples!

Inspired by Claudia's recent work on the Shimmerz DT, I dug out my one lone pot of Shimmerz paint - Angel Wings. Tilda' wings, and the flower in her hair have been accented with this, and I also painted the Prima Hydrangeas to make them shimmer, as you can see in the photo below. I think I'll be adding more Shimmerz to my wishlist!

Stamps:Tilda with Dotty Wellies by Magnolia Stamps.
CS/DP:Bazzill Bling.
Ink/Colouring: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Copic Markers.
Embellishments: Ribbon from Poppicrafts. Prima Hydrangeas.
Misc:Nestabilities Ovals, Scor-Pal, EK Success Flourish Punch.

No DP again on this card, simply because I don't have any pretty paper in purple hues which I really like, or which fit this card. I searched high and low through my stacks of paper, and found nothing, so it was Bazzill Bling to the rescue!

Here are the markers I used:

Thanks for stopping by, and if you're a Copic fan, why not give the challenge a go?

Tilda with Puppy - Magnolia Card

A rather simpler design today, using one of my new favourites - Tilda with Puppy. This is one of the cutest Tilda stamps Magnolia have released so far. Such an adorable little pup!

For a change, I coloured Tilda with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, which gave the image a lovely soft look.

Instead of my usual detail, the inside of the card sports a paper insert, one layer of soft blue and one of white, which complements the front of the card beautifully.

Stamps:Tilda with Puppy by Magnolia Stamps.
CS/DP:The Paper Mill Shop.
Ink/Colouring: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Prismacolor Pencils & OMS.
Embellishments: Ribbon from Poppicrafts.
Misc:Nestabilities Ovals, Scor-Pal, tag punch.

Thank you for all your recent comments! For those of you that commented on how tidy my craft room looks - rest assured, it is no longer so! The comfy chair next to the shelf unit is covered in lovely new Magnolia stamps at the moment, and there are bits and pieces all over the place. Wouldn't do to be too tidy, would it? *grin*
